High school robotics support
The Ford Motor Company supports FIRST® FRC® program that provides students with an unique model for exploring science, technology, engineering, arts and math – all skills that are going to be critical in the work force of the future. By helping to inspire young, innovative students, the FRC® motivates them to consider science, technology, engineering, arts and math education and opens doors to STEAM careers.
Ford believes in the FIRST® mission: “Our mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication and leadership.”
FRC® (FIRST® Robotics Competition) students are the future of the nation’s STEAM work force. We have a limited number of grants to support FRC® teams and help them realize their goal with guidance from Ford employee mentors.
Complete the preliminary support request for FRC® program grant consideration. If approved, the submitter will be invited to complete the actual grant application. The grant application must be completed by September 30, 2016.
